Matt called for our inspection first thing this morning, and right after lunch the inspector arrived.
After he left I excitedly asked Matt how it went and....we....didn't pass!
But all minimal stuff - some wires that we thought didn't need to be nutted together before the rough-in actually do (we had the grounds, but not the others) so that's pretty simple to fix. I think there was one other thing that needs to be done at this stage that is also fairly minimal, and then one bigger issue (regarding the main ground that runs from the sub-panel in the addition to the main panel in the original part of the house) that the inspector wasn't sure if what we had met code or not so he was going to have to research that.
At the moment, he's planning to come back Tuesday afternoon at which point we really *should* pass.
And in the meantime, Matt and my dad are out there wire-nutting wires together and running pex plumbing supply lines to the laundry room and bathroom. They'll probably get another hour of work in yet tonight before it gets too cold and dark out there, and then some more time tomorrow morning.
