As I sit here knowing in one week I'll be on a plane back to Bulgaria, my mind is filled with these girls. We're excited for many of you to get to meet them in person, and am trying once more to get some of the photos that go with our post from our first visits with them where those of you reading can enjoy them, too! (Sorry it took me so long!)

As I mentioned, the way Gloria took to Bogomila on our first visit and sat happily on her lap for so long was truly uncharacteristic for Gloria. This is more what we usually experience when someone other than Mom is holding her and Mom's in the room. ;) Thankfully Bogomila didn't seem too put off by Gloria's less than favorable reaction. ;) |

On this visit we went out to get Bogomila's visa photo taken. Her town is small, which means it's easily walkable. There's a little market just a block from her group home, and the center of the town is just three or four blocks further. Across from the photo place was an open square. We visited a small, but pristine church, and watched Gloria play on the playground. |

We picked up a mid-afternoon dessert, and by the looks on our faces, were having a humorous conversation! Bogomila is a lefty, just like Owen and Grandma (Matt's mom). We're taking that into account as we plan spaces at the table once Bogomila comes home - we'll put those three lefties next to each other so no one's bumping elbows! |
These two - my youngest and oldest. We're all excited to see them together again! |
Holding hands. |
Gloria's happy to be near Bogomila now! |
Smiling and laughing together. |
That smile on Bogomila - she smiles freely and often - even her eyes smile. We are so ready to have her here with us! |
