After three rainy days with nothing happening, we found out that our city inspector will be able to be on site at 8am Monday morning to inspect the form work for the footings, and that the concrete truck will come at 9am! They will be able to remove the formwork before the day is over, and then Matt can tackle the first part of *his* work - laying the draintile.
Our framer was here a few days ago to go over some last things, and he said he'd be ready to be here by Thursday of next week. That means the lumber will show up soon, too!
In the meantime, we've been filling up our basement, and garage, and a bit in the front yard, with supplies that we're purchasing while Menards has their 11% rebate promotion. Matt plans on taking one more trip over there this afternoon, and then I'll have to take some photos!
